This was actually commissioned by a Parsons student who wanted to use an illustration on a book cover design. It never got much beyond the comp phase (the teacher scrapped the idea and forced a more traditional type-and-photo solution), but I kind of liked the goofy roughness and all-out bloody mess of it all, even in this early stage.
