A sketch (and the later computer reproduction) of a tiger I did one day at the Natural History Museum. People are strange about tigers… as I was sketching, several people came up to me to tell me tiger stories — one girl enthusiastically told me that she works at a tiger preserve in Miami where I could come draw them in real life while she walked them around on a leash. What I found interesting was that in a museum gallery packed to the ceiling with animals on display (the wall behind me was crawling with what must have been hundreds of crustaceans), people were drawn most to the tiger.

About:

This site is a small showcase of my sketches. If you need something drawn, feel free to contact me at nealteak [at] gmail [dot] com

I am a graphic and web designer, writer and editor who does illustration casually on the side under the pseudonym Neal Teak. This site is not linked to my professional site because it's just for fun. I sketch, it keeps my creative mind alive, and part of me will always regret not following my high school dream of becoming an animator. I have fun with my sketchbook, and, if you're bothering to glance through these images, I hope you do too. Cheers.
